Daniel Defoe’s message to “Robinson Crusoe”

Robinson Crusoe is the first successful English novel written by Daniel Defoe. From different kind of view this novel can be analyzed. At first look we can take this novel as a inspirational story. Robinson is the hero of this novel. He has a dream to go to sea from his childhood. But his father suggests him to read law, though Robinson read in law but he cannot kill his dream to go to sea. So that some time he walk on the beach in his leisure time. In this novel we see that he goes to sea on day though in the sea he suffers a lot but he is successful to fulfill his dream that means if you are strong in your decision you will be successful in your dream.
Secondly the writer shows that people who does sin has to suffer must who deals with sin punishment and redemption. In the story we see that Robinson go against his father’s advice and go to sea. Actually here Robinson decision to go against his father advice is counted as sin; he must get punishment. In the story we see Robinson has to suffer a lot when he has to stay Island. Actually this suffering is his punishment of his sin.

After a certain period of suffering every sinner get redemption. In this story Robinson can back to home after suffering for a certain time. Actually he is coming back is counted as his redemption.
